Eagle Academy is in its second week of school! Students are working hard to accomplish their daily goals and be prepared for their testing!
Did you know that Eagle Academy, originally El Shaddai School, was started in 1984! We are in our 34th year of educating leaders!
El Shaddai began in the church building of Christian Family Church. We eventually built a school building on the north part of town! We are very excited that this year we are in the same building as our church! 2300 Heritage Pl NW, just north of the Owatonna airport.
We now have a gym to use! The students have been enjoying their free time to use it. We have a volleyball net and basketball hoops plus room to do so much more!

The Lord is doing so much for our school! This is our year to grow and become!

End of the 2018 School Year

At the end of every year we have an annual picnic. We have lunch at the park, play on equipment, walk through the woods and have a water fight. The students look forward to this every year! We also trade in all our earned merits for prizes, candy and drinks!! We only have 3 days left!! Let’s finish the year strong, students!!

School for the 2017-2018 school year is well under way! The students are working hard!! We are excited for this year and all that the Lord will do with us!! Be watching for our new website that is being created!! I'm so excited to get our name out there more and to watch the school grow!!

Start of Another Great Year!

Here we are, already finished with Quarter 1! Where does the time go!! Our students are working hard to complete all their work and stay on task!

A few weeks ago The Flatland Family brought in Mr. Timothy from Uganda. He shared with the students about his ministry with his orphanage and schools. It was such a blessing to have him come!

This week we had our Awards handed out for 1st Quarter.

LexiAnne Kennedy and Thomas Furness received "A Honor Roll"

Carter Matejcek, Tanner Kennedy and Daniel Resse received "B Honor Roll"

LexiAnne Kennedy achieved the most PACEs completed with 22 PACEs AND the highest PACE average at 98.7%

LexiAnne, Thomas, Carter, Tanner and Daniel all achieved Perfect Attendance!

Congrats to all of you!!

Our Honor Roll Trip will be on Friday, November 11th at the Owatonna Bowling Alley. Please see the letter that went home for questions.

This month we had a new student in our school! We would like to welcome back Jordan Schmidt! Jordan is a senior this year. He attended our school a few years ago as a 6th Grader. We are glad to have him a part of our class!

Reminder: There will be NO School on Thursday, November 24th for Thanksgiving. Enjoy this time with your family and friends!

I'm excited for what Quarter 2 will bring and the growth our students will have!!

What an amazing start we have and to our new year!! We have added Art Class this year with Mrs. Matejcek! We have all loved creating! Be watching for more things to come!

Happy Birthday Mr. George Washington

In honor of President George Washington, Mr. Bob Nesbit came and spoke to us. He taught us all kinds of unknown facts about him! We are very thankful that he came and visited and that we are privileged to go to a school that still teaches about our Founding Fathers!
